About The Author

I've been on both sides of the MLC in a marriage going on for over 20 years. I've managed to save my marriage from the brink of falling apart when my wife went through her MLC and I went through my own controlled MLC for 3 years. By that I mean that I did the normal MLC stuff without ever even contemplating leaving my family.

In these years I have seen all colours of the MLC spectrum with friends and relatives. Husbands leaving the wife and vice versa and couples sticking together in happiness and unhappiness.

I don't really care if anyone is offended but I've seen a difference in the ways a MLC affects men and women. Although it is not always the case, I also believe that a MLC hits women alot harder than it does men and therefore the impact is alot harder on the spouse and family concerned.

Some might see my views as sexist, but I think the whole PC culture has done enough damage for us to keep quiet while marriages fall apart everywhere. In particular I am extremely critical of over analysing around the obvious answer just because some may find the obvious answer offensive.
