Most of us like to think that a mutually agreed upon divorce or simple job lay off is not shameful. But something in our culture and deep within our own psyche begs to differ. I found my own divorce to feel quite shameful. What I say now is that any divorce, no matter how mutally desired, traumatizes the people involved and feels like a failure on some level. »more»

The Bucket List is a film directed by Rob Reiner and stars Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. The film is currently scheduled to be released on December 21st, 2007.
The story follows two terminally ill cancer patients (Nicholson and Freeman) as they escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road-trip with a "Things To Do Before I Die" list includes racing cars, eating giant plates of caviar and slinging poker chips in Monte Carlo. »more»

Research has shown that when you apply discipline to one area of your life it has the tendency to carry over into other areas. If you want to lose weight you might start by getting up early every day. The discipline of doing so may help you have resolve to pass on dessert. Odd but it works. »more»
