One of my favorite authors, Richard Leider, is coming out with a new book, Something to Live For:  Finding Your Way in the Second Half of Life, and I wanted to give everyone a heads up.  As a coach, I've been influenced a lot by Richard's thinking on purposeful living, and his books are featured prominently in the "recommended reading" section of my blog, Project Creative Vision. The Los Angeles Times writes about baby boomers using the increased equity in their homes to finance a reinvention of their lives. Notwithstanding recent housing woes, most boomers who have lived in their homes for more than a few years have a great deal of equity and are capable of using some of that to pay for a new start somewhere else. »more»

Simply Hired describes itself as a "vertical search engine". To people outside of Silicon Valley, this means they are a search engine (like Google) focused on a particular market, in this case jobs.
