I finally got my hair cut. That, along with the larger eyeglass lenses, seemed to be two things that would show me I was really getting to be an old lady. Now I've got the haircut. Couldn't stand the way my hair had gotten and how it felt on my neck. And now I will be getting the bifocals one day soon. What's next? Augh.

At the gym my balance isn't great anymore. Didn't know I had such fantastic eyesight and balance until they deteriorated.

But the thing they don't tell you is, you're not your hair. You're not your eyesight. You're how much you care about others. You're how hard you can laugh. What you're made of is learning.
