Everywhere I turn I see carnage. Yes it is important to have a long-term view but at some point we're human. How are people doing and what coping strategies are working/not working.

Freaking Out

I'm trying to get my buddies to go to Vegas and stay downtown where we can play $5 craps, drink and get cheap lap-dances. Kicking it old school is the proper response to a liquidity crunch.

Due to now working 2 days a week. I had to start pulling money from A diminished savings. I'm 57 y.o., have a mortgage and now pay for my own Health Ins. At times I would wake up in a state of fear and bad dreams....what would become of me? i COULD QUICKLY SEE that walking or any tension relief was in order. I started walking to the Library. picking up DVDs and books on helping me think beyond the panic. at times , I was glad to have this opportunity to think about what activities i could do that were free or very low cost. I put as many utilities to budget as I could and told friends and family that email would be my biggest communication. now what reality will come ?? walk and drink water. watch or read creative subjects , and maybe I'll find more to do with my hands. believe me, it's hard to control the rage you feel over people and things that didn't work out. read and learn.
