Would You Do What This Guy Does To Live The Life He Wants?

Do you want to be Dave Dixon? At sixty, he's reached the goals he set for himself in 2000:
The catch: he lives on a forty year old boat that needs constant repair, has to be anchored in the Pacific at least 10 days a month, and requires a dinghy trip to get to shore. He has no health insurance. The Los Angeles Times has the story. Dixon sounds like a very upbeat guy. Could you adopt his minimalist approach and maintain that positive attitude?
