Here's something normally not associated with middle age--sexually transmitted diseases

Rates of sexually transmitted infections have more than doubled among the over 45s in less than a decade according to the journal Sexually Transmitted Infections. Middle age people are rarely included in public health prevention programs for STDs giving the false impression that older individuals are not as susceptible as young people are for such diseases.
