To Do Before You Die: See These 1001 Paintings
Submitted by Wesley on July 3, 2008 - 8:11am.
By now you should know what a "Before I Die" list and why you should have one. One of the problems with these lists is that one can get stuck coming up with more than 30 or 40. This only sounds odd if you haven't created your own list. Travel is a popular component of "Before I Die" lists and "1001 Paintings You Must See Before You Die" is a great resource for finding those paintings that you've always wanted to see. From the title you can tell that it encompasses an enormous variety of paintings over a wide time period. The pictures are beautiful and the commentary is insightful & smart. It's an enjoyable book in its own right and even more so for trip planning. Amazon Link: "Before I die" might sound a bit morbid but it is only so if you aren't doing something about it.
