Midlife Crisis Resource Suggestions

If you or a close one have crossed into middle age and run into a wall and you think it might be a midlife crisis but aren't sure, you might wonder what to do. By coming here to LifeTwo you've already started. Step one is to learn that you are not alone as you don't want to deal with this alone. Read all of the relevant articles in our Midlife Crisis section. But reading alone won't do it. One thing you should not discount is getting professional help. While few therapists specialize with midlife crises but many have deep experience in with people in midlife. There are also websites that offer professional listings. Life Coaches: www.coachfederation.org. Marriage/Family Therapists: www.therapistlocator.com. As with any professional feel free to ask as many questions as you like to insure that it's a good fit. Also investigate their references and credentials. If money is an issues, local churches often offer free services as well. Good luck.
