Aging Backwards Tuesday Tips #43: Skinny Songs Rock!
Submitted by jackie on April 15, 2008 - 9:57am.
You know how sometimes you hear a song and you can't get it out of your head? That's exactly what's happened to me with Skinny Songs by Heidi Roizen (with a host of other great talent), but it's more like 10 songs that I can't get out of my head! In fact, I woke up this morning with one of my favorite Skinny Songs on my mind, which makes me wonder if they've secretly embedded subliminal messages into the songs. How's that for a conspiracy theory? When I first heard about the Skinny Songs CD, I wasn't sure what to think. When I first heard the Skinny Songs...I was hooked! I wasn't expecting such a professional production. This is radio-quality music. Besides the catchy tunes and wonderful vocals, the lyrics are adorable and inspiring. Talk about effective, I don't even have any weight to lose, but I want to lose some anyway whenever I listen to the CD, which is often. I play it every time I'm in my car. Here are some of my favorite Skinny Songs Lyrics: 1) Song: Think I'll Go To Saks Here I am at Neiman's I find it entertaining Think I'll go to Saks what used to be a struggle Delight, la la la la la la la .... 2) Song: I'm a Hottie Now. I spent years in misery Made up my mind, I'd had enough Oh yeah you bet, it was difficult I'm a hottie now! (gimme something sexy) 3) Song: Use It To Lose It. You say you don't want no gut (no gut) That's it now, get off your duff We're in a feel good revolution 4) Song: Thin. Money can't buy you happiness ( I jus' wanna be) 5) Song: Objects In The Mirror (This is the one that woke me up!) Mirrors, mirrors everywhere, but nothing good to see Objects in the mirror will get thinner than they now appear Even if you're happy at your current weight, I recommend Skinny Songs because the music is so upbeat, fun and happy! If you are trying to shed some excess pounds, I think you may find Skinny Songs to be motivational and inspirational. You can read all the lyrics, sample the music and buy the CD HERE. Skinny Songs!
How neat! I quickly browsed their site, but plan on looking at it a little longer later in the evening and possibly purchasing the songs.
What a neat concept! Thanks 4 sharing Jackie :0)
You're Welcome!
Hi 40 (you youngster, you!) LOL,
If you buy the CD, I think you'll see exactly what I meant - I don't have any weight to lose, but every time I hear the songs I want to workout and diet! :)
It's just so fun and the tunes are the catchy type that stick in your head.
Have a super day!
Jackie
