Hollywood Takes on "Things to Do Before I Die" in "The Bucket List"; Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman
Submitted by Wesley on September 18, 2007 - 12:48pm.
The Bucket List is a film directed by Rob Reiner and stars Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. The film is currently scheduled to be released on December 21st, 2007. The story follows two terminally ill cancer patients (Nicholson and Freeman) as they escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road-trip with a "Things To Do Before I Die" list includes racing cars, eating giant plates of caviar and slinging poker chips in Monte Carlo. Jack Nicholson plays Edward Cole, a corporate billionaire, who shares a hospital room with blue-collar mechanic, Carter Chambers (played by Morgan Freeman). Not surprisingly, the two appear to have nothing in common until they discover that they both men have "Before I Die" lists (they call them "Bucket Lists" in the film). With only a little time left, the two set off to try and experience a lifetime of living into their remaining days. By the way, Nicholson shaved his head for the role, which explains his bald appearance at the 79th Academy Awards on February 25, 2007. h/t: Your Drum Read Similar LifeTwo Stories:
