Wesley's picture

When reaching middle age, it's natural to question your career path. More specifically whether the career path you started on two decades ago is still the one for you today or is it time for a change? But changing careers midlife is a significant step and involves a multitude of risk factors. To help your exploration of this topic we have created the "Carnival of Careers in Middle Age."

This post is an open "carnival" whereby bloggers have been given the opportunity to submit stories that are in some way related to career issues in middle age. We'll kick it off with our own contribution which is our "Midlife Career Change FAQ", a resource-intensive post on all aspects of changing careers in middle age.

Posts submitted to this carnival:

Biz Growth News contributed "Making a great impression with customers". This posting includes the three steps you can take to enhance he way you and your team connect with customers to make a positive lasting impression and build a platform for business growth. Also, while you are there, LifeTwo recommends that you also check out "Personal branding tip - what’s your passion?". Why? Because if you are able to find work that is so engrossing that it doesn't even feel like work then you will succeed--not to mention being more energized and happier.

Dragon Slayer's Guide to Life contributed "Top Ten Reasons Your Relationship May Fail". How does this relate to a career in middle age? Simple, it is hard if not impossible to be everything you can be in your career if your house is not in order. It also goes without saying that relationships should be our top priority in life.

SharpBrains contributed "Brain Health for Lawyers". It's hard to think about a career change without a healthy brain.

Edith Yeung (Dream. Think. Act.) contributed "7 Phrases Successful People Would Never Say", which is basically 7 reasons why you should read Edith's post.

INTJ Personal Development has contributed "How To Come Up With Good Business Ideas". Attention would-be entrepreneurs.

Millionaire Mommy Next Door has contributed "Create Your Treasure Map To Riches". This blogger is already a millionaire and is sharing her secrets.

Please support the above bloggers by visiting their sites.
