WSJ Profiles Three Who Turned Hobby To Career

The Wall Street Journal's Laura Landro writes about three people who left highly compensated jobs to run their own art galleries. Bruce Silverstein was a gas and electricity trader who launched a photography gallery. Ben Gall ran technology companies, and, after a gallery in the exurbs didn't work out, has started a multifunction arts center voted "best art gallery" in a recent magazine poll. Laura Grenning left her Wall Street analyst job and now runs her own gallery in Sag Harbor. They've met with varying degrees of success but two of the three sound like they don't regret the move (it's unclear from the article whether Gall has second thoughts).
