"Wake Up and Create the Life That You Want" by Debra Moorhead
Submitted by Wesley on June 5, 2007 - 12:48pm.
Debra Moorhead's self-empowerment ebook starts out like this:
Sound familiar? For many of you it will. But she changed her outlook and decided she wasn't a victim and could change her career by changing her life. What's more she wrote a book with her tips and strategies so could do the same. Debra is now a motivational speaker and success coach for women and her book reflects this vocation. Concepts such as positive self-talk, visualization, the "law of attraction," and goal setting are part of her process. People familiar with authors such as Brian Tracy will be familiar and comfortable with these approaches. "Wake Up and Create the Life That You Want" is a series of essays that range from building self-esteem to deciding your mission in life. It's organized so that you start off by building a solid foundation about yourself then figuring out what you really want and motivating you to take action (and staying on course as you hit the inevitable speed bumps). [Here is a list of all of the essays] While much of what she has written can no doubt be found on her comprehensive website, it is organized and formatted in a way to act as a workbook for your own personal career/life transition. Available as a PDF download, I would assume that many print out the book and then take notes on it as they progress through the steps as they do at her seminars. Debra's ebook is available at her website DebraMoorhead.com. We strongly recommend that you go to the site and if you like the blog posts you see you will probably be very satisfied with the eBook.
