Boomer Entrepreneurs: The next big thing will be...

Wesley's picture

Of course no one has any idea what the next big thing will be, but more often than not innovation comes from entrepreneurs. Besides having a good idea, one of the challenges for entrepreneurs is getting exposure. To help companies who are targeting the Baby Boomer market, a group of venture capitalists and other companies have organized the Silicon Valley Boomer Business Plan Competition.

This year sixty aspiring companies submitted business plans and eight finalists will be presenting at the Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit, a one day event on June 19 at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California.

One of the speakers at the summit is Dr. Mary Furlong, a leading figure in the Baby Boomer market.
