Attention Brits! Milk Cancels Tea's Health Benefits

It is true that drinking tea can reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. But, in a twist of cruel fate for those of us who like a little milk with that tea, benefits disappear when milk is added. Tea improves blood flow and the abilities of the arteries to relax but milk counteracts those favorable health effects. This explains why a country like England that has a relatively high tea consumption (but with milk) has not shown the expected decrease of heart disease.
