LifeTwo wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving.

We hope that you have an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday week-end, even if you live in a country that does not celebrate it.

Thanksgiving is a time of family gettogethers. This is a great opportunity for all of us to reflect on aspects of our lives that we would like to improve. If, God forbid, this was to be your last Thanksgiving, what regrets would you have with regard to any particular family member or situation? This is the year that you should commit yourself to fixing that.

The other thing to note, sorry to be a downer, about the year-end holidays is that this is when most of the weight gain that people experience in their lives comes in. The good news is that people generally only add a single pound during the holidays. The bad news is that this pound then stays with them until the next year at which point another is added.

A pound is about 3,000 calories. If you watch your portions, drinking, sweets and try to keep up on your exercise regimen as well as adding family walks and hikes (where weather allows) and you should be able to keep the weight gain at bay.

Once again, have a Happy Thanksgiving.
