It's okay to blog, even if you are over 50

Just because you are not a teen doesn't mean that you can't blog. While the younger generation has MySpace and other social networks, there are blogs for pretty much every possible interest--including those applicable to baby boomers. There are blogs on retirement, financial issues, health, senior travel and pretty much every hobby/pastime. There is even a blog on midlife crises (you found it!).

Our friends at the Boomer Chronicles cite an AARP study that only 5 percent of bloggers are over 50. This number is sure to increase.

We plan to ad capabilities to LifeTwo that will allow registered users to set up their own blogs, but if you can't wait, go to Blogger.com (or any other no cost blogging service) and away you go. Just make sure to let us know your URL.

Over 50 bloggers

I have been blogging since I turned 50. It seemed like a good rite of passage.

My next mid life crisis

Being over 50 is fabulous. Blogging over 50 rocks. I have been blogging in the "mommy" category and am working on the "grand-mommy" niche development. Could be WE are the next big marketing target! http://www.lagniappemarketing.net
