10 Ways to Pay for Retirement
Submitted by Wesley on July 20, 2006 - 11:49am.
As if there weren't enough pressures on you when you are in your 40s, but in today's world you need to also be thinking about how you are going to pay for retirement. U.S. News writer Emily Brandon has compiled the "Ten Ways to Pay for Retirement" including:
Of course by the time today's 40-50 year olds retire we'll probably need at least 20 ways to pay for retirement instead of just the 10 required today. Humor aside, LifeTwo believes this number will increase as the next generation of retirees works not just for the money but because they enjoy remaining active. The ability to work part-time (say consulting for people you enjoy being with) is reward enough and has the added benefit of assisting with the ever-increasing costs of retirement (anyone want to guess what medical costs will be in 20-40 years?). The Free Money blog has the list along with their commentary. --- Scroll down below the comments to see similar articles. Read Similar LifeTwo Stories:
