Fed Up With Baby Boomers? Here's A Website For You.

Greg's picture

The website Die Boomer Die looks askance at baby boomers and their legacy with news clips such as "Boomer Journalism: Happy Reading for the Self-Absorbed" and "Boomers Made Things Worse." While the editors provide little -- if any -- commentary, their article selection is fun.

We have to give Die Boomer Die credit for pointing out this summer's "Hippiefest" tour, featuring acts that many of a certain age haven't heard from in thirty years: the Rascals, Mountain, Canned Heat, Lovin' Spoonful, Country Joe McDonald, Mitch Ryder, Iron Butterfly, Vanilla Fudge, Rare Earth, Melanie, Badfinger, Janis Ian, Denny Laine, Terry Sylvester, Dr. Hook, and Blood, Sweat & Tears. For some of them you could have asked me "alive or dead?" and I'd have guessed they were long gone. But apparently, they're not dead yet!

Thanks, Die Boomer Die for filling my head with images of sixty year old podiatrists looking for acid and free love.
