![]() Recovering from Abusive Relationship at 44Submitted by Anonymous on July 22, 2008 - 7:33pm.
I am 44 and decided to relocate to a new state and start over after leaving my home town and an abusive relationship of one year. It took me so many times to leave and I felt so frustrated, but I finally organized everything and made the move. It has been seven months and I am doing well although I have days of grief. I also have fears of being lonely forever. I look very young for my age, but I am afraid now to date. Overall I will say I am much happier being away from the abuser and even though it was difficult, leaving can be done. »
