'Make it go away'??? While I appreciate your honesty - its ideas like that, that cause enormous pain and suffering. So many parents disown (emotionally if not completely) their children because of their own prejudice and ignorance (and yes - even hatred - of gays)... I have news for ya - In time you will learn it doesn't change who your daughter is one bit - in fact - you should consider yourself blessed that she has the confidence and self assurance to share who she is with you instead of cutting you out and living a secret life.
