I wrote this about 9 months ago:

Love can be cruel…. love can be kind
It manifests itself in many ways and hijacks my mind
I try to understand it….. I try to work it out
But all I see is a mystery and a head full of doubt

Life can be wonderful…life can be hard
It can all be dictated on the turn of a card
I try to understand it….to see it what it is
But all I find is a puzzled mind with a long lost kiss

Can you see what It’s doing …does it make any sense
It’ll try to undermine you and take you over the fence
Is it really this painful….can it all be resolved
Love can be cruel without getting too involved

Now I look to the future….can I see what lie’s ahead
A love unkind with a state of mind in a cold and empty bed
And I wish I could go back….I wish I could have more
Of a life of love and happiness that I had once before
