I'm 45 and experiencing alot of anxiety lately (such that I'm going to see a CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapist) as I awake each morning at 3am with a huge sense of dread of my future (I don't own property at my age and dread always renting and/or getting in too late into the market at my 'old' age...(i'm single, have never married or had kids) in exorbitantly priced Vancouver BC....only have an arts degree...am in an industry that is undergoing huge amounts of stress and strain/restructuring (TELCO industry) so worry about job losses, too....I've been a mess the last 8 months or so...worry worry worry....don't have many friends here, either (I'm originally from Toronto where my friends are)...and I am gregarious and like to meet people (and realize how important it is to have 'fun' more often and get out)...luckily I have a gal (over 1 yr now) but don't want to make her the centre of my universe, either...so am trying to find ways to meet more guys (even older guys as mentors, since I lost both my parents when really young so having 'mentors' at any age is important)...

So any suggestions?
