My wife's midlife crisis appears to be in check, ever since the marriage counselor we were seeing basically laughed at her "I love you, but I'm not in love with you" line. The counselor simply said that if you love someone after 21 years, you ought to be glad for that and this "in love" distinction was just a sign that we weren't kids head over heels anymore, but a mature couple. »more»

Combined with her response to the number of times she'd like to have sex each month - zero, and it's clear she doesn't have an interest in me as a husband right now. »more»

I found out six weeks ago that her feelings have changed and she's not sure about us. Apparently she shut down because she tired of my overreactions to minor situations and now feels empty. I have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder and do overreact on occasion, although she admits that it's always over and forgotten after a couple minutes. »more»
